Purchase: My old saddle did not fit my new horse. I did some research and decided to have someone come out that sold Albion saddles. I was looking for a saddle that would be comfortable for my horse. I also wanted something that would help my position. This saddle did both. I paid $3295 + tax, farm call & shipping offset for a total of 3659.17.

Likes: The saddle broke in quickly. I felt balanced and comfortable without feeling like there was too much bulk. My horse was moving with more freedom through his shoulder. I didn't feel like I had to fight for my position. It felt right from the first time I sat in it.

Dislikes: The twist is a little wide for me. I'm not sure if it's because it has a wide tree to accommodate my horse's broad back or if that's just the way it's made. I rode in my friend's Albion saddle. Hers is an older model with a medium tree... the twist didn't feel as wide.

Quality: The saddle is well made. The leather is holding up well to the Florida environment. I received a sample of leather balm when I purchased the saddle. It works very well. It's a product I'll continue to use.

Summary: I'm glad I made the decision to purchase this model. This is a well made, comfortable saddle.
