I would really like to buy a pastel yellow saddle pad to use with my dressage saddle. I just plan on using it a home and saving my white one for shows. But, my mother thinks that it would look ugly (although I've seen this combo before, and I like it). What do you think? Should I get it or save my money? What color saddle pad do you recommend?

Pretty much any color of a saddle pad looks good with a saddle! Especially in dressage because you only see a little bit of it. I honestly think yellow is cute! But, saving your money is always a good idea when you have a horse! I would try going to a tack shop because if you order it online, like i did with my saddle seat shirt, you never know what your gonna get! The shirt was butt ugly and didnt fit!

that would be a kinda cool idea for a saddle pad but the thing is it may get dirty, i had a burgundy one and i really liked it!
I don’t LOVE it, but its all right. I would get the other colors before that one, because Dressage should be in neutral colors, although you have another on for the show. But this is coming from a person with a baby blue saddle pad!
Depends what colour your horse is.
But I think it would look nice, exspecialy with yellow boots on.
I don’t see what’s wrong with it. My grandma uses a yellow pad on her chestnut PSG horse. It looks very nice on him, it all depends on what color your horse is for the pad.
You can use any color you want for schooling.
You can use whatever color you want for schooling! Who cares if it doesn’t look "proper"? I think pale yellow would look just fine.
