I have 2 English saddle I am selling because neither fit my horse.
1 is a honey brown 17" Dressage saddle. It's very comfortable and is almost like new. I have had cheap leather saddles and this one is allot nicer. Not sure of brand. I am thinking I can get 0 for it.
2 is an older brown English saddle. Is a 15" seat, a little worn but not bad at all, you don't see the wear straight off. The leathers are kind of dried but I think with an oiling it'll be pretty good. I am thinking 0 for that one.
Also, what is a close contact saddle? Is it jumping or a brand or what?
The Dressage is at a consignment store for 0 right now, it's not selling so I am going to bring it home and put it up myself. It's a softish leather by the way.

Close Contact saddles have the square-cut back. It is a type of saddle used for hunters and jumping.
Pictures would be really helpful in seeing the quality.
If there is no brand on the dressage saddle, than it has none and is worth maybe $100. You have to look under the flaps.
Those prices sound ok,
A close contact saddle is basically its name. It gives you a closer contact with your horse. They can be used for jumping( i jump in a close contact) but I prefer one that has knee rolls because some come without. If you are planning to show higher level jumpers you might prefer a jumping saddle but a close contact would work fine.
Good luck and happy trails!!
I would say it would be about the back ground.Brand, where it was made stuff like that because my friend has a REALY nice German leather dressage sattle.
